Overview
Cloning a project or section allows you to create a new project or section quickly and easily, and helps provide consistency with similar existing projects of the same type.
Cloning a project does not retain time tracking or file configuration information. To retain file configuration information, duplicate a project instead of cloning it. See (New UI) Duplicating a Project for more information.
Use Case: To create a simple identical (or very similar) version of a project or section with the answers. |
The Clone option is available from the More Options menu associated with the project.
You have four options when cloning information:
- Clone Only Project Details: Project details only are cloned.
- Clone Only Sections: Sections only are cloned, not answers.
- Clone Sections and Questions: Sections and questions only are cloned, not answers.
- Clone Sections, Questions, and Answers: All sections, along with their questions and answers, are cloned.
