Overview
A Document Shredding is an analysis tool that can be used by various teams in the organization to help analyze and ensure compliance. You can create any kind of matrix using this option. You can shred documents to create Requirements Matrix, Capability Matrix, Compliance Matrix, and more.
In the Request for Proposal (RFP) world, the tool can be used in the following ways.
- In the pre-response stage of an RFP, the tool could be used to check the organization's compliance with the requirements or RFP that can help with the go/no-go decision.
- In the post-response stage, the tool can help ensure the response to the RFP requirement is met, resulting in a better-quality proposal.
Matrix View
The Document Shredding screen lists the requirements from the shredded source documents, and supports the following features:
- Navigation: Following the breadcrumb, users can go back to the Requirements Analysis tab or click on the project name to go to the Projects page.
- Search: Search the contents of the requirements with keywords or by category or document name.
- Matrix View: Displays the list of requirements cross-referenced with the fields set in the matrix structure.
- Toggle: Switch the view to display All shredded sentences/paragraphs or just the requirements.
- Menu Button: The menu houses the following options:
- View Matrix Configuration: View the configuration options used to generate the matrix.
- Import: Import the compliance matrix from a file that was previously exported.
- Add New Field: Adds a new field to the current matrix.
- Delete Matrix: Delete the generated matrix from the workspace.
- Export: Export the list of requirements to work on them offline.
- Source View: Opens the Source View panel that shows the source document content.
- Customize Columns: Customize the list of visible columns in the matrix.
