If you are working with a PDF RFx, you might want to convert it to Microsoft Word before importing the file into the Responsive app. This can be done with both a Mac and a PC by opening the document with the Word application, and can also be done online via the Adobe PDF to Word converter.
Note: You must have Microsoft Word installed on your computer.
Converting a File in Windows
To convert a PDF to Word in Windows (i.e. on a PC), follow the instructions below:
- Locate the file on your computer and right-click the document.
- Click Open with then select Word. If you do not see Word in the options list, choose Choose another app, locate the Word app, and select it.
Converting a File on a Mac
To convert a PDF to Word on a Mac, follow the instructions below:
- Locate the file on your computer and right-click the document.
- Click Open With, then select Microsoft Word. If you do not see Word in the options list, choose Other..., locate the Word app, and select it.
Note: If your Word file is in "compatibility mode," please take it out of compatibility mode when you save it to avoid any problems working with the file in the Responsive app.
