This document covers the details on Responsive's catalog feature.
Creating Catalog Structure
Catalog structure is a template that can be used to define and organize various products and services. Prior to creating catalogs, you need to create and define a catalog structure.
To create a catalog structure, you can follow the steps below:
- Login to Responsive.
- Click Organization Settings.
- Click PROPOSALS and select Catalog Structure.
- The Organization Settings – Catalog Structure page will be displayed. Click CREATE NEW.
- The Create New Catalog Structure pop-up will be displayed.
- Provide a name for the catalog structure
- Define catalog Merge Tags under Structure Elements.
- Click CREATE. A success message will be displayed and the Catalog Structure created will be displayed as shown below:
Creating Catalogs
Catalogs serve as a listing of all the various products, offerings, services of a particular company or product line.
You can create and Manage Catalogs from the Catalogs section of the application.
To manage catalogs, you can follow the steps below:
- Login to Responsive and click Catalogs icon from the left navigation pane.
The Manage Catalogs page will be displayed.
- Click Create New icon. The Create New Catalog pop-up will be displayed as shown below:
- Select a catalog structure from the drop-down options.
- Enter a name for the catalog and a display name.
- If Business Unit is enabled for your organization, select the Primary Business Unit.
- Select if to share the catalog with other business units.
- Add more owners if required.
- Add the required tags.
- Enter values for the structure elements.
- Click CREATE.
The catalog will be created and a success message will be displayed.
