Answer Editor Fields
The Answer Editor contains three main fields, each of which allows users to edit a specific part of each Q&A pair.
Question and Answer
- Alternate Questions: Alternate questions are typically used when you often encounter a different type of question(s) that has the same answer. Common examples of this include the question "What is your company's address?" versus "Where is your company's headquarters?"
- Alternate Answers: Conversely, alternate answers are different type of answer(s) that apply to the same question. Examples of this include shorter versions of long-form answers or answers that must include compliance information for specialized responses such a government, healthcare, etc.
- Attachments: You may attach documents to your responses for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to pricing sheets, data sheets, company information, etc.
Metadata
- Project Name: The Project Name is a critical piece of metadata that is searchable throughout your Responsive instance.
- Section Name: The Section Name refers to the name of the section associated to the specific Q&A pair being edited. Section Name is also searchable.
- Tags: Tags are a great way to organize your content. Think of tags as a key word or phrase to help you filter your content into smaller groups in a quick and simple way.
- Language: The Translation Tool is an add-on for your Answer Library that can translate your content into many different languages.
Privacy, Usage and Review
- Privacy: The Privacy setting allows you to set up content restrictions to different users within your Responsive instance.
- Collections: A collection is a way to segment your Answer Library. It has the ability to restrict visibility to certain Q&A pairs, documents in the document library, or section templates to only users assigned to that collection.
- Moderators: A Moderator is a job that is only done within the Answer Library. If enabled (must be enabled in the organization settings) a Moderator reviews any edits made to an existing Q&A pairs in the Answer Library. The Moderator will be notified by email either after an Owner makes an edit to an existing Q&A pair or when a new Q&A pair is created.
- Owners: An Owner is assigned to existing Q&A pairs within the Answer Library. They are responsible for maintaining and upkeep of that Q&A. An Owner can also be assigned to review cycles for each Q&A pair.
- Star Rating: The star rating helps you prioritizing the order of recommendations received while responding to a questionnaire.
- Flags: You can enable or disable flag from a Q&A pair. If the content has multiple flags then adjacent to the flag icon, an information icon will be displayed. Clicking that will indicate that this particular QA pair has multiple flags. However, you cannot view the flags. To view the flag, you have to enable the new experience.
- Alert Text: Alert Text can be attached to specific Q&A pairs to share important information to other users, such as critical documents that need to be attached or information that needs to be frequently updated prior to that Q&A pair being used.
