Configuring SharePoint in Responsive
Step 1: Go to INTEGRATION - Collaboration in Organization Settings . Click Configure.
Step 2: Enable the toggle switch. Provide your SharePoint URL with your root (home) SharePoint site.
Example: https://<yoursharepointurl>(Example:https://test.sharepoint.com)
Step 3: Enter Client Id and Client Secret (optional).
Step 4: Click Admin Consent Link to provide access to other users in your organization. You will be redirected to the SharePoint login page as shown below:
Step 5: Click Accept.
Step 6: Click CONNECT TO SHAREPOINT. You will be redirected to the SharePoint login page.
Step 7: Once connected, the page will be displayed as shown below:
Step 8: Select the sites and sub-sites (from the SharePoint Sites) to which the user should be granted access. By default, users will not be restricted from searching any of the listed sites when no checkbox is selected. If any sites are selected, however, only those sites and selected sub-sites will remain searchable.
Step 9: Click SUBMIT once you have given the authentication.
Verification
To verify that an account is connected to SharePoint in the Microsoft Azure account, perform the following steps:
Step 1: Click Azure Active Directory and select Enterprise applications.
Step 2: Click All applications, where you can see the Responsive has been installed after your authentication on the SharePoint application.
Step 3: You can also verify by clicking Responsive and then select permission to view granted permissions after admin consent authentication.
SharePoint can be connected in three ways:
- Connect from Organization Settings (described in the previous section)
- Connect Using Your Account
- Connect through SharePoint search
Connect Using Your Account
You can connect to SharePoint from your account only to initiate the connection, and then you can start using it from the question list level.
- Go to Your Account.
- Click the USER ACCOUNT tab and click CONNECT TO SHAREPOINT.
You are now connected to SharePoint. Go to question list level and click options menu at the top right corner of the question and select SharePoint Search.
Connect Through SharePoint Search
- Go to the question, click more options, and then select Sharepoint Search.
- Click CONNECT TO SHAREPOINT.
You are now connected to SharePoint. It will search for the question in the SharePoint and provide the results.
- Hover over the search results to view the copy icon and paste in the response.
- To perform an advanced SharePoint search, click the advanced search icon in the search bar.
