Overview
When a questionnaire asks that you select one answer from a row across multiple columns, use a multi-column drop-down as the answer type. Users can choose the multi-column drop-down answer type while configuring the Excel file.
Use Case: Question 1 has four possible responses in columns C, D, E, and F and you are being asked to provide your response in one of the columns to fulfill the question requirements.
Using Multi-Column Drop-Downs as Answer Types in Excel
- Select the Answer column and map it with Answer from the left options.
- Click Add Options and provide the Excel column name and value in the UI and File.
- The Add Answer Type pop-up displays. Add the required answer types.
- After import, you can answer the question by selecting an option from the drop-down in the Response section as shown below and then export the responses.
