Overview
Note: This update is for users of the New User Experience only.
As part of Responsive's ongoing efforts to provide the best user experience possible, an enhanced user experience is coming on April 10. We're making enhancements to the global navigation components across our products which includes elements like the module menu, application header, and page footer.
The result will be a cleaner, more streamlined UI that leaves more room for content and provides more consistency for you in navigation across all pages. This new look will also grow with our platform, as we continue to introduce powerful and innovative new products and features to benefit you.
A quick glance at the upcoming updates
- Previously, to navigate between the different modules, you had the left navigation pane. This is now removed and the App Launcher menu is now introduced on the top-left corner of the page header.
- Previously, to navigate between different options within a page, you had to either depend on the three-dot menu or the More Menu options. Now for navigation within modules, a sub-navigation strip is being introduced. The vertical left side menu will now be replaced with a sleeker, more responsive page navigation strip that makes finding pages more predictable and intuitive.
- Previously, the account menu was displayed on the bottom-left corner. It has now been moved to the top-right corner of the page header.
- Previously, the help and contact information were displayed on the footer. The footer bar will now be removed leaving more vertical space for content. The help and contact links currently in the footer will now be displayed as a Global Help icon at the top-right of the page header.
- Notifications menu was previously displayed only on the My Work page, now it's made persistent across all the pages.
