Overview
After generating a matrix, if there is a need to modify its requirements, you can add, remove, merge, or split requirements from the Source View.

Adding Requirements

To add a sentence or paragraph as a requirement, simply click it and select Add Requirement.
- To add consecutive sentences or paragraphs as requirements, simply click and drag or use the 'Ctrl' or 'Command' key to select them, and then click Add. The selected sentences or paragraphs will be added to the matrix.
- To add non-consecutive sentences or paragraphs as requirements, you can use a combination of click and drag and the 'Ctrl' or 'Command' key to make the selection, then click Add.
Removing Requirements
- To remove a requirement from the matrix, simply select it and click Remove. You will be prompted with a confirmation pop-up; click Remove again to confirm. If you don't want to see the pop-up every time you delete requirements, you can check the Don't ask again checkbox.
- To remove multiple requirements from the matrix, you can use a combination of click and drag and the Ctrl or Command key to make the selection, then click Delete. You will be prompted with a confirmation pop-up; click Remove again to confirm.
Merging Requirements
- Consecutive sentences or paragraphs from the document or requirements can be merged into a single requirement in the matrix. To merge requirements or content of the document, simply click and drag or use the Ctrl or Command key to select them, and then click Merge.
Splitting Requirements
- A requirement comprising multiple sentences or paragraphs can be broken down into multiple requirements. You can leverage this feature to mark a part of the paragraph as a requirement while skipping the rest.
To split, click on the requirement and select Split. In the popup, you can click and drag, use the Ctrl or Command key, or use a combination of both to select the sentences or paragraphs you want to split from Available Content on the left, and then click Split.
