Note: LookUp is an add-on feature and must be enabled prior to use. Contact your account manager, or accountmanagers@responsive.io, to enable it.
LookUp for Microsoft Outlook allows you to use content stored in Responsive in your emails, calendar items and more without accessing Responsive. By keeping your curated content in one central location, you streamline your responses without sacrificing accuracy.
Use Case: Respond to questions in an email with information from your Responsive Answer Library.
Setting Up Responsive LookUp for Microsoft Outlook
You can set up the online or offline version of the product.
Setting Up the Online Version
This app is available from the Microsoft Store. To set it up, perform the following steps:
- On the Microsoft Edge home page, click the Apps icon to display the pop-up menu, and then click All Apps.
- Select Add-ins.
- Search for Responsive in Add-ins, and then click Responsive for Outlook from the list.
- On the Responsive for Outlook page, click Get it now.
The next time you open Outlook, you will see the Responsive add-in in the ribbon.

Setting Up the Offline Version
To set it up, perform the following steps:
- Click Insert, and then select Get Add-ins.
- Select Store to access the Microsoft Store. Enter Responsive in the Search field to find the Responsive Add-in, and click Add when you find it.
- Review the license agreement and privacy policy. If you agree, click Continue.
The next time you open Outlook, you will see the Responsive add-in in the ribbon.
